The Manchester Tattoo Show

For the last ten years the Manchester Tattoo Show has been one of the most popular conventions of the UK tattoo community. It paved the way for how successful current conventions are now managed.

We are pleased to announce that Jazz Publishing has acquired The Manchester International Tattoo Show. Jazz Publishing currently runs three other tattoo conventions, Tattoo Jam – The UK’s Biggest and World Record breaking Tattoo Festival, Tattoo Freeze, the first UK Convention of the year and The Great British Tattoo Show, a new event in the UK’s capital for 2012. They also publish Skin Deep - The UK’s best selling Tattoo Magazine, Skin Shots International and Tattoo Master Magazine -The UK’s only trade title, as well as the UK’s leading tattoo website BigTattooPlanet.com plus a plethora of other Tattoo Bookazines – Tattoo Bible, Tattoo Bible 2, Tattoo Vixens, Tattoo Vixens 2, Tattoo Dynamite.

Stuart Mears, MD of Jazz Publishing, commented: “This event will add to and strengthen our existing products within the tattoo industry. The Manchester Tattoo Convention has a long history and a great reputation for being a good, well run show. Manchester is an incredible, passionate, and much-loved city and the venue - Manchester Central, is one of the best in the country. We will be doubling the size of the event in the first year and as with our other events and products, we will be offering great value for money for all who attend”.

Jorge Perez, Co-organiser of the previous Manchester Tattoo Shows said: “The last 10 conventions have been a pleasure to put on. We have had so many good times and met many great people and made many friends. The decision to sell the convention was a tough one, but our main focus looking forward, is to expand our tattoo studios and supply business. It will be strange for me to attend this event from a non organiser point of view, but Jazz Publishing’s commitment and professionalism within the Tattoo Industry assures me that the Manchester Tattoo Show is in good hands.”

The 2012 event will see the event grow substantially in size, with over 5,000sqm of the Manchester Central being used (double last year’s size), more world-class artists, more entertainment and more traders and vendors. We aim to grow this event from strength to strength. We look forward to welcoming you to this convention.
